Turn Tile Decisions Into Signed Contracts

Bathroom remodeling is a volume game. At $15k-$35k a job, you're not winning on any single contract — you're winning on how many baths you can move through sales, selections, and production each month without the wheels coming off. And nothing gums up that machine like a homeowner staring at forty tile samples.

+Design gives you a design department built for throughput. Submit the bath once — photos, dimensions, scope — and get back a branded package: a tight selections palette, photoreal renderings of the finished bathroom, and a take-off priced on your own cost book down to the niche trim and the wax ring. The homeowner decides fast because the choices are curated, and your installer walks in with a spec sheet instead of a guess.

More signed baths per month, fewer selection meetings per bath. That's the whole pitch.

Where design bleeds bathroom remodelers dry.

Tile and fixture selections eat your selling hours

Two showroom trips and a week of texted screenshots per bath doesn't scale when you need eight signed jobs a month. A curated palette of two or three coherent options gets a decision in one sitting.

Small tickets can't carry big sales overhead

You can't spend kitchen-remodel sales effort winning a $22k hall bath. A branded design package presented at the second meeting compresses the sales cycle so your cost-to-close stays proportional to the ticket.

The primary-suite upsell dies without visuals

The client who called about a tub-to-shower conversion will spend double on a full primary bath — if they can see it. A rendering with the freestanding tub, the double vanity, and the glass wall does the upselling you don't have time to do.

Wet-area mistakes are expensive to fix twice

Niche placement, drain location, tile layout at the curb — get these wrong on paper and you fix them in mortar. A dimensioned design package settles the details before waterproofing goes in.

Every package

What bathroom remodelers get in every design.

01

3D renderings that sell the bigger bathroom

Photoreal views of the finished shower, vanity wall, and tub deck — in the client's actual footprint. It's the difference between quoting the bath they asked about and closing the primary suite they actually wanted.

02

Curated tile and fixture selections, decided in one meeting

We narrow the universe of tile, plumbing trim, vanities, and lighting to a coherent palette matched to the budget tier you're selling. Clients choose between good options instead of drowning in all options — and the schedule holds.

03

Take-offs that catch the small stuff that kills bath margin

Tile by the square foot with waste factors, waterproofing membrane, valve counts, glass dimensions, accessories — quantified and priced on your list. On a $25k job, the forgotten line items are the margin; we don't forget them.

The money play

How the retainer math works in your world.

The $1,000 design retainer works even better on baths than on kitchens, because the psychology is stark: a homeowner who puts $1,000 down on a $25k bathroom has committed 4% of the job before you've ordered a single tile. They are not shopping your bid around. Credit the retainer at contract and it costs them nothing — but it cost your competitors the lead.

Volume is where the subscription math sings. Ten design packages a month at the $6,000 flat rate is $600 a design. Collect a $1,000 retainer on each and your design phase generates $4,000 a month in margin before production revenue — from work you used to do free, badly, at nine o'clock at night.

And every one of those packages is an upsell engine: renderings make the heated floor, the frameless glass, and the full primary-suite scope feel inevitable rather than optional.

Questions

Bathroom Remodelers ask us.

Bathrooms are quick jobs. Can you keep up with my turnaround?

Yes — baths are our fastest package. A typical bathroom design with selections, renderings, and take-off comes back in about a week from complete submission. If you're signing jobs weekly, we deliver weekly.

Do you handle multiple baths for the same client at once?

Routinely. A primary bath plus a hall bath submitted together counts as two packages, designed as a coherent set so the finishes relate without repeating. It's one of the easiest ticket-doublers in the trade.

My clients pick tile at a local showroom. Does that break your process?

Not at all. Tell us which distributors and showrooms you buy through and we spec from their live catalogs. Your client can still touch the tile in person — they just walk in to confirm a curated palette instead of starting from zero.

What proof do I have that deliverables look like mine?

Before you commit, we produce a sample deliverable set in your branding — your logo, fonts, and layout on a real package. Most remodelers show it to their next lead the same week. If it doesn't look native to your company, we fix it until it does.

How many revision rounds do I get on a bath design?

Revisions are included and we don't nickel-and-dime them. Bath revisions are usually small — swap a tile, move a niche, brushed nickel to brass — and turn around in a couple of days. The package isn't done until your client signs it.

Setting up my price list sounds like work. How painful is it?

One onboarding session. Send your cost book in whatever form it exists — spreadsheet, PDF, your estimating software export — and we structure it on our side. Bath jobs have a repetitive cost structure, so after the first few take-offs it's fully dialed.
